Speed TV Project Management |
Mission
- AOS coordinated and implemented the relocation of 102 employees, associated equipment and contents, and 50,000 tape storage facility from two leased buildings into a new, owned facility. The new location included office space for administrative and operations, along with production and broadcast studio space and contains approximately 57,000 square feet.
Challenges
- Early on, the client was concerned about what exact components of the facility equipment needed to be relocated and how they would manage these relocations.
- In addition, the client was unaware of many different aspects of the relocation process that also needed to be considered (i.e.: numerous storage facilities at different locations; general storage needs etc.)
- The client's corporate entity, Fox Networks, ran the project out of Los Angeles. Coordinated efforts between local contacts, as well as LA's Construction Project Managers, IT/Telecom Project Manager's and other numerous Project Manager's was a challenge.
Value Added
- AOS provided a high degree of relocation and coordination experience to the client. AOS worked with Speed TV to develop and execute a comprehensive relocation plan including communications packages, action plans, scheduling, space planning, vendor management, and implementation plans. In addition, AOS was contracted to provide change management consulting services, as well as help with bidding for external and interior signage packages and vending/coffee services. AOS successfully provided furniture consulting services during the selection process.
