

AOS UK is, in essence, an occupier focussed Project Management Consultancy. Our aspiration is to have early engagement such that we can provide comprehensive advice throughout the Project process, either ‘in-house' or in collaboration with other consultancies, chosen by the client, or introduced by AOS.

Informed by understanding our clients' business drivers and organisational Imperatives through Strategic Workplace Consultancy from which a sound brief can be generated, thereby aligning the occupiers real estate and property strategy and business strategy.

Our core service, Project Management, is where we pull the discrete components together. Driven by a desire for delivery excellence, relieving the client of the burden of managing complex and distracting change associated with new occupation, relocation, refurbishment, churn, restack or consolidation projects, predominantly but not exclusively relating to workplace environments.
Design is crucial and the realisation of our clients' aspirations and objectives. AOS can create the brief, provide ‘Test Fits', generic, specific and alternative space planning, configuration and design detailing and coordination. We recognise design is often an important driver, consequently we work with leading design studios supported by our own highly competent resource, to bring together the most appropriate design team for each project.
The management of cost is key; AOS provides budget advice, Cost Consultancy, and other QS related services. High level, pre-project pragmatic and realistic budgeting is provided in-house, detailed cost consultancy usually involves working in conjunction with external Cost Consultancy firms. Where multi-disciplined firms see ‘bundled services' as an opportunity to augment their own fee income, AOS respects the desire for clients to have the checks and balances afforded by the creative tension between separate, autonomous service providers. Where clients seek advice, AOS can pre-select shortlist, interview and advise on the appointment of cost consultants; our capability allows us to offer constructive intervention on the clients behalf
Tendering is often tedious and complex, especially for clients unfamiliar with the process. AOS can provide Tendering Management easing the journey of pre-selection, short listing, supplier and contractor appointment, with ‘like-for-like' comparisons (benchmarking), qualifying criteria assessment,, made transparent and manageable
Successful projects rely on careful management of the supply chain. Our experience and skill with Procurement Management means we can ensure the clients interests are met from all in the supply chain, from manufacturers, suppliers, installers, main contractors and sub-contract partners. This can include building systems and products as well as ‘softer' elements such as furniture and finishes.
The success of the move or change pivots around expert "Relocation or Move Management". If required, AOS can manage the project through to final execution at occupancy, handing over snag free, fully commissioned, fully documented occupation ready space, allowing the client to resume, seamlessly, the conduct of their own business, which after all, is the most, important, maybe even the only real purpose of the project.
