In August 2009, Colt has signed a new lease contract for 2.599 m². Colt rent 3 floors in the building H of Park Lane, Culliganlaan in Diegem. Colt has an objective to settle there in 2010.
Kristof van Renterghem, Senior Consultant of the Real Estate Services Department of AOS Studley, has accompanied Colt in his entire project.
The project has started with a first analysis : « Stay or Leave ». The objective was to compare the different scenarios : either remain in the building Blue Star, Rue du Planeur in Evere (Colt rent +/- 2.800 m²) ; or relocate to another available building. This mission was to define the best solution for Colt..
After the first mission, AOS Studley was appointed for another mission : « Tenant Representation ». This mission includes two parties, (a) the actual lease contract renegociation, (b) the negociation of other real estate opportunities. The most interesting opportunity was the Park Lane building (property of Cofinimmo). The lease contract was signed in August.
The negotiations took place directly between Cofinimmo (Park Lane) and CBRE Investors (Blue Star), without the assistance of a Real Estate agent.
