Though our success rests on the ability of our teams to do their best to meet our clients' expectations, our commitment is equally strong when it comes to supporting other group initiatives.

We are particularly active in our policy of sustainable development and in initiatives to enhance human potential and promote diversity amon our teams.

Our commitment to sustainable development

In the projects we deal with - beyond the ethics or the image we want to project - we put into practice existing laws, in Europe and elsewhere, that compel decision-makers to move towards environmentally-friendly choices. Similarly, we try to meet the new challenges of sustainable development internally. In France, for example, AOS Studley has obtained for its headquarters the ISO 14001 certification, an internationally recognized certification that limits a site's impact on the environment, with one of the first measures being to move to an HQE building (High Quality Environmental).

Diversity of our teams

The multidisciplinary nature of the topics that we deal with naturally leads to a varied mix of team members. Seniors and young people, men and women, and consultants from a vast range of countries all share their expertise to meet our clients's needs. We have also made workstations accessible to team members with disabilities.

We encourage tomorrow's talent in all fields

Since January 2010, AOS Studley sponsors Maxime Vachier-Lagrave to support the remarkable rise of the number One French chess Grandmaster. Gilles Betthaeuser, AOS Studley CEO and a passionate chess player himself notes, "We want to help Maxime reach the highest international level. With his mastery of creative and sharp moves, he exemplifies AOS Studley's motto : 'Executing complexity'".

Maxime is a true chess prodigy. He's been playing since the age of five and, at 13, won his first title of champion of France in the under 20 category. Today, at 19, he has to his credit many prestigious titles won in tournaments against players in the global top 10, such as Boris Gelfand and Alexander Morozevich.

"Taking risks, promoting learning and encouraging humility - all values held by the chess world - are a vital source of inspiration for AOS Studley. Every real estate project requires us to excel in the art of anticipating, taking into account and combining many different factors, and succeeding in a complex set of circumstances", said Gilles Betthaeuser at the signing of this partnership.
